I always review the special edition Walmart Beauty Boxes for you, and this time around the have the Walmart limited edition winter box. The theme is called “The Self Care Kit,” and there are two boxes to choose from. My box is called “Zoom Ready,” and the other box is called “Eye Love Being at Home.” The main difference is the Eye Love Being at Home box has a candle, and I do not use those. Each box retails for $12.98, but you get more products than the normal $5 subscription box. The included products are dedicated to giving you an at-home spa experience. I am going to unbox the Zoom Ready kit for you with all of the details.

Biore Charcoal Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

The first item in the Walmart limited edition winter box are the Biore Charcoal Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. I am sure I have tried these in the past, but my nose never yields much on any brand of pore strips. These claim to suck deep down dirt, oil, and blackheads out of the skin by means of charcoal to leave your skin feeling fresh, clean, and less oily. You are to apply them to a clean, damp nose. When it is dry and stiff to the touch, it can be peeled off starting at the edges.

Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber

Second is the Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber. This dual-sized scrubber can be used in the shower to cleanse the face. One side is soft like a terry cloth, while the other is textured for mild exfoliation. This scrubber claims to reveal smoother, softer skin. A unique feature is that the print on the sewn-in label wears off when it is time to replace.

elf Soothing Facial Oil Mist

Third is the elf Cosmetics Soothing Facial Oil Mist. I have all of these, and they are great for aromatherapy purposes. This particular mist uses neroli, which is known to soothe the skin and the mind, as well as hyaluronic acid. You can mist it onto the face throughout the day as needed. These mists never leave the skin feeling greasy, and they absorb quickly due to the fine sprayer.

Tresemme Pro Pure Light Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner

Fourth is Tresemme’s Pro Pure Light Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. This duo claims to provide light moisture and shine for dull, dry hair. The formula is free of dyes, sulfates, silicones, and parabens, but it does contain fragrance. I assume standard use directions apply here, as none are provided.

Bliss Rose Gold Rescue Facial Cleanser

Fifth in the Walmart limited edition winter box is the Bliss Rose Gold Rescue Facial Cleanser. It claims to soothe, nourish, remove dirt, makeup, and oil. The formula gently foams for sensitive skin and will not over dry. It should leave the skin feeling fresh, clean, and balanced. You are to gently massage onto damp skin, lather, then rinse.

Vital Proteins Lavender Lemon Beauty Collagen

Next is the Vital Proteins Lavender Lemon Beauty Collagen. This is the same one that I got in the Winter 2020/21 box, except this flavor is Lavender Lemon. We typically associate lavender with scented products, so the thought of drinking this is not appetizing. You are to stir this drink powder into eight fluid ounces of water. It claims to promote healthy skin, hair, nails, and joints. I am doubtful that results can be seen with one serving.

NYX Filler Instinct Plumping Lip Color in Besos

Here is the NYX Filler Instinct Plumping Lip Color in Besos. This orange-red lipstick provides a sheer wash of color that enables the lips to look juicy. It claims to provide eight hours of hydration with a shiny finish. My hand is not tingling or burning with the swatch, so I would assume it is not painful on the lips, rather, the plumping effect comes from the shine.

essie Nail Polish in Mosaic On Down

The last item in the Walmart limited edition winter box is Essie Nail Polish in Mosaic On Down. Essie claims to have an easy glide, streak-free brush for flawless application with a glossy finish. I do find that to be true, however, Essie does not last as well as most other polishes in my collection. Their price point is a bit too high for the quality. Mosaic On Down is a standard metallic gold. Be sure to keep an eye on my Instagram Stories to see what nail polish I am wearing for the week!

Conclusion

In conclusion of the Walmart limited edition winter box, this box is definitely worth the purchase. As per typical Walmart style, the items in the box far exceed the price that you pay. Everything in the box is travel or deluxe-sized, with some full-size items, with the exception of the pore strip and drink powder. I am excited to try everything out, anticipating finding some new favorites. Only the drink powder is a repeat. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.

Which of the boxes will you be purchasing?
