Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2020 Review

You may recall that Walmart purposely skipped the Summer 2020 box in order to revamp and bring us a better experience. I am pleasantly surprised to bring you this Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2020 review during the actual season of fall! Usually, the boxes are one season behind. Hopefully, this is a good omen for the products contained inside. I am hard core stressing that they sent me eye drops, and I really do not want to see those in my box. I have never liked eye drops all my life! As always, I am going to unbox everything with you and share all of the intimate details.

Anecdote Weekend Vibe Eau De Toilette

The first item in this Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2020 review is Anecdote’s Weekend Vibe Eau De Toilette. It is a unisex fragrance and the notes are pineapple water, sandalwood, pink passionfruit, and whipped musk. The full-size is a spray, but this rollerball sample is generous. You can really smell the musk in this scent, but the gentle balance makes it perfectly unisex. I imagine this is what borrowing your boyfriend’s hoodie smells like, and it is very nice.

Found Red Clay Sheet Mask

Second is Found’s Red Clay Sheet Mask. You are to apply it to clean skin and wear it for 10 to 20 minutes. After which you should pat the excess serum into the skin. This mask claims to calm, soothe, and clear pores while also controlling excess sebum and enhancing brightness.

Curel Dry Skin Therapy Hydra Silk Moisturizer

Third is Curel’s Dry Skin Therapy Hydra Silk Moisturizer, which is a repeat from the previous winter box. Since I have used this body lotion before, I know that it works and stands up to its claims. It absorbs immediately without greasy residue as it provides 24 hour moisturization. This formula is a plain white cream that contains no dyes or fragrance. It should also repair skin’s moisture barrier.

Batiste Original Dry Shampoo

Fourth is Batiste’s Original Dry Shampoo. I have used this deluxe sample before, but not from a Walmart Beauty Box subscription. It did come in one of the favorites boxes way back when, but it does not count as a repeat. This formula contains oil absorbing rice starch that will not weigh the hair down or leave a residue. You are to shake the can well, then spray it 12 inches from your hair in sections. I really like Batiste and believe that it stands up to its hype, but I do get some white residue. Compared to others I have tried, Batiste is good.

Nyx Butter Gloss in Sorbet

The last product in this Walmart Beauty Box 2020 review is Nyx’s Butter Gloss in Sorbet. Walmart really is digging on Nyx lately. This year they have sent a lip oil, lipstick, and matte lip cream. Anyway, every time I review a lip gloss I always provide a reminder that I hate them, but I really like this formula. First and foremost, it is not sticky! It truly feels buttery and silky on the lips. The Butter Gloss formula provides sheer coverage for supple, shiny, juicy lips. “Sorbet” looks like a pretty, natural rose on my lips. The applicator is a skinny and flat doe-foot.

Conclusion

In summary of this Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2020 review, I must say that I am impressed! We have five total products, and all of them are either full-size or deluxe/travel size. There are no one-time-use samples or foil packets. The only repeat is the Curel lotion. Also, this box actually arrived during the middle of the fall season, which is much more on time than what we are used to. I appreciate that Walmart now includes an informational card with the products. Let’s hope they continue down this improved path. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
