For the first time ever, Brandshare is doing special edition Walmart Beauty Box for Halloween. It is officially called the Walmart Halloween Beauty Box 2020, and it features six full-size products, plus one mini, for a total of seven items. This box is a $38 value priced at $9.98. Brandshare offers two options for this box. You either purchase the “eye” or “lip” box. I am purchasing the eye box. The lip box gives you a lipstick/lipgloss combo, which is silly to me because you already get a NYX lipstick in either box. There is no need to have two lipsticks, so it is eyes all the way for me. I am unboxing and reviewing the entire box with you, and I have a full face of Walmart makeup at the end.
Walmart Halloween Beauty Box 2020
Hard Candy Stroke of Gorgeous Liquid Eyeliner in Black to Basic
The first item in the Walmart Halloween Beauty Box 2020 is Hard Candy’s Stroke of Gorgeous Liquid Liner in Black to Basic. This eyeliner features a brush-like tip that really reminds me of the KVD Tattoo Liner, but the tip is a bit thicker. It claims to create both thin and thick lines, to quickly dry down matte, and to be long lasting and smudge proof. The formula also contains lash boost serum. You should always shake the eyeliner well before use, and store it tip down for best performance.
From the swatch and application/wear I can definitely confirm that this eyeliner meets its claims. The liner dries down quickly to be matte black, and it is super easy to make thin and thick lines. I love how fluid this liner is! It glides right on without skipping. You can draw by holding it on its side OR with the tip itself and it works beautifully. This eyeliner is definitely the winner not only in this box but from the drugstore, and I want to check out the other colors.

NYX Shout Loud Satin Lipstick in Red Haute
Second is NYX’s Shout Loud Satin Lipstick in Red Haute. This basic satin lipstick from the drugstore claims to be pigment packed for rich color that provides up to four hours of hydration.
This lipstick feels very thick and heavy on the lips and the formula stays sticky, and I am not enjoying how it feels. I do find the pigmentation to be full and buildable, but it is also too shiny for something that is called “satin.” Red Haute has more pink it in than a true red should. Honestly, this is cheap drugstore lipstick, but it serves its purpose.
Milani Strobelight Liquid Highlighter in 24k Glow
Third is Milani’s Strobelight Liquid Highlighter in 24k Glow. This gold highlighter is a bit dark for my fair skin, but I will still use it on the face for science. It claims to have a weightless, cream formula with a foil finish. You can apply it to all of the areas of the face that you normally apply highlighter to. I typically apply this type of product with my fingers. I really like the clear plastic tip that the product dispenses from. You can easily see with the swatch how metallic this highlighter is.
A little bit definitely goes a long way. One drop is enough to apply highlighter to my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, and my cupid’s bow. When doing my makeup look at the end of this post, I powdered my entire face forgetting that this product is a liquid. Thankfully, it looks really nice over top of powder and is not disastrous. Yes, this gold shade is a bit too dark for me, but there are other shades to choose from. Otherwise, this is a solid liquid highlighter choice.
Splat Hair Chalk in Midnight Blue
Fourth is Splat’s Hair Chalk in Midnight Blue. This shade of blue is not one that I would call “midnight blue,” and the blue on the packaging looks much darker. Included with the chalk is a sponge, but the instructions do not mention the sponge at all. You are to select a stand of hair and then wet it with hairspray. Then, put the strand of hair in the open compact and sandwich it between the lid and the product as you slide it down the strand. I believe you would put the sponge in that sandwich so that it pushes the hair into the chalk. You should re-apply hairspray after to set the chalk. I am swatching this product just like eyeshadow.
Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow in Moonlit
Fifth is Revlon’s ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow in Moonlit. This palette features four shimmer eyeshadows in nude shades. I typically stay away from this kind of eyeshadow because I am usually disappointed by the pigmentation, and these shades add nothing special to my eyeshadow collection. This eyeshadow should not crease, fade, or smudge for up to 16 hours.
The swatches are ok and somewhat lackluster. A color scheme such as this one does not scream Halloween, but the colors are highly appropriate to pair with a bold red lip. I really have to work with this eyeshadow on the eye to create a decent look, as the pigmentation is lacking. This palette is not my cup of tea and I will most likely donate it.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelette
Next is a single Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelette. You should already know that Neutogena wipes are my absolute favorite. These mini wipes are sold in 20 packs at Walmart, and I have purchased the pack before for travel, and I definitely will again in the future. These wipes easily remove all of my makeup without pushing product around my face. I love how thick and saturated they are. I never have to add micellar water to make them wetter. The wipes never irritate my eyes.
Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Gogo Girl
The last product in the Walmart Halloween Beauty Box 2020 is Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Gogo Girl. I have a blog post that features my entire Sinful Colors collection, and I do already have Gogo Girl. While it is obvious, it is a red nail polish that is a must-have for any collection. I will donate this nail polish. Check out my blog post to catch a swatch of Gogo Girl.

Conclusion
In summary of the Walmart Halloween Beauty Box 2020, the value of this box makes it totally worth it. The colors included are not necessarily specific to Halloween, but as a way to try new to you products, this box is a lot of fun. You get the choice between the “eye” or “lip” boxes, but each contain six full-size products and one single makeup wipe. I am most excited about the eyeliner, and I may check it out in the white version. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.

Such a great box! I wish I could get it, I like the look of the revlon quad!
I’m disappointed by the Revlon quad 🙁 but I will say after wearing it all day yesterday it at least stays in place all day like it claims. I’m used to shimmers kind of moving all around, if that makes sense lol
I had one of those, it had a peachy shade and a military green, it used to be my jam in high school. It’s a shame it didn’t work for you!
What a fun box! I love the color of the hair chalk.
xoxo

The chalk comes in other colors, it’s so pretty! I have to make myself use it haha
Ooh fun box ! Love the hair chalk
Yeah it’s a different find to score! Not sure if I’ll ever get around to using it. I have a bad habit of buying fun temporary hair colors then giving them away eventually LOL
I used to use them when I wanted to add a different color to my already colored hair lol but sadly they never really showed up on my dark roots . And thats where I needed the color lol .
