Walmart is at it again with another lineup of sample beauty boxes! You may remember my post from 2018 when Walmart first tried out the concept. This year the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup is bigger and better! I am purchasing all eight of the ladies boxes, featuring hair care, skin care, makeup, and more! There are also three mens boxes that I am passing up, as the products do not pertain to me. In this post I promise that you will discover new products to add to your favorites list. Sit back and join me as I open each box and share the products up close with you! I am also including the value of each box.

Salon Made Simple

Bed Head After Party
The first product in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup is After Party by Bed Head. It is a smoothing cream that claims to make your hair silky, shiny, healthy, and to control fly-aways. After Party is to be applied in a dime-sized to damp or dry hair, prior to styling or blow drying. It is a white cream with a fruity scent.
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Conditioner
Second, I have the Miracle Leave-in Conditioner with keratin from It’s a 10. It is a spray that claims to build protein in the hair while boosting it’s strength and silkiness. The directions state to spray it all over towel-dry hair and to comb the product through.
Bed Head Self Absorbed Shampoo and Conditioner
Third, I have the Self Absorbed shampoo and conditioner duo from Bed Head. This pair claims to strengthen, shine, detangle, soften dry ends, and to add body. As far as the directions, they are typical of any shampoo and conditioner. Be sure to leave the conditioner in for three to five minutes. The formula is orange with a fruity scent.
Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray
Fourth from the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 collection is Spray & Play hairspray by Big Sexy Hair. It claims to add volume, lift, and hold to your hair. The directions state to hold the can eight to 10 inches away from your hair while spraying.
Chi 44 Iron Guard
Fifth, I have 44 Iron Guard by Chi. This is a heat protectant spray. You are to spray it all over dry or damp hair prior to styling with heat.

elf Hydrating Bubble Mask
I have a one-time-use sample of elf’s Hydrating Bubble Mask. It claims to remove excess dirt and cleanse pores while leaving behind glowing, healthy skin. The formula is a clear gel that is to be applied all over your damp face in a thin layer. After about one minute it turns into a lightweight, bubbly foam. It should be kept on for five to 10 minutes, or until the bubbles start to dissipate. During wear you can feel and hear the bubbles popping, which I think is fun! It smells clean and fresh, like clean linen for your face (I mean that in a good way). Be sure to massage your face with your fingers, then rinse the mask off.
Found Fruit AHA Peel Pads
Next in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 set is Found’s Fruit AHA Peel Pads. In this foil packet sample there are two cotton rounds soaked in toner-like water. The pads have a rough, diamond-printed surface that gently exfoliate the skin. AHA Peel Pads claim to even skin tone, dissolve dirt, oil, and impurities, and to reduce the look of pores. The directions state to wipe a pad across your face, neck and chest after cleansing. They can be used one to two times per day.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
Continuing, I have Neutrogena’s makeup remover cloths. Anyone who does makeup has tried these at least once before, and we all know that they work. They claim to remove all dirt, oil, and makeup including waterproof products, while leaving no residue. Additionally, these wipes do not irritate my eyes.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream
Here I have CeraVe’s Moisturizing Cream. It claims to moisturize, restore, and maintain your skin’s barrier. The product is a white cream with no scent.
Sky Organics Rose Water Toner
Additionally in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup is a spray-on rose toner water from Sky Organics. It claims to refresh, hydrate, soothe, balance, and luminize all day. The water smells like roses. Optionally, you can spray the toner onto a cotton round and use it as a makeup remover.
Garnier Waterproof Micellar Cleansing Water
Next up I have two versions of Garnier’s Micellar Water. First is the waterproof micellar water. I have used this one before and it definitely works, however, I have never used a micellar water that does not work. You simply dispense it onto a cotton round and go to town.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
If the waterproof version is not your jam, Garnier also sells their original micellar cleansing water for general use.
Clean & Clear Lemon Zesty Scrub
Next up in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 skin set is a face scrub from a line that I am interesting in trying out! Clean & Clear’s Lemon Zesty Scrub claims to brighten and buff the skin. The clear formula contains small scrubbing beads and smells like lemon. You are to massage the scrub over your damp face daily, then rinse it off.
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Coconut Oil
Now I am moving into an innovative lotion from Jergens- their Wet Skin Moisturizer. The directions state to apply the lotion directly to your wet skin right out of the shower. A dime-sized amount should be used on each arm, and a quarter-sized amount on each leg. When you are done applying, pat your skin dry, but do not rinse. The lotion is translucent white with a coconut scent.
Physicians Formula Rose All Day Oil-free Serum
Continuing with skin products, I have the Rose All Day serum from Physicians Formula. I have sought out directions from the internet, as none were provided for this serum. Rose All Day is white in color with iridescent pink pigments and smells like rose perfume. It is more of a makeup product than a skincare product, and is probably best used as a glowing primer. The formula is difficult to dispense with the dropper, causing you to have to wipe the product from the dropper rather than getting drops out. It claims to tighten, brighten, soothe, calm, and hydrate.
Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion
Here is another lotion in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 skin set. Cetaphils’ Moisturizing Lotion can be used on the face and body and applied as needed for lasting moisture.
Olay Regenerist Whips
The last product in this box is a repeat from a past Walmart box- Olay’s Regenerist Whip. I recall that it smells really good, has a lightweight feel, absorbs quickly, and leaves a matte finish. However, I did not notice any effects with my skin. This facial moisturizer claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Hi Pro Pac Extremely Damaged Hair Repair Intense Protein Treatment
First in this haircare box is a conditioning treatment from Hi Pro Pac. It claims to fortify, to prevent split ends and breakage, and to condition. The directions state to massage it into wet hair, all the way to the ends, and leave it on for two to three minutes, then rinse.
Hask Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner
Secondly, another conditioning packet in Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 collection is a repeat from last year. Hask’s Argan Oil treatment claims to hydrate, strengthen, smooth, and to restore dry, damaged hair. You are to apply it to wet hair and leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse well.
SGX NYC The Overachiever 3-in-1 Dry Texturizing Spray
Third is a texturing spray from Salon Graffix that I hope is a less expensive dupe for Drybar’s Triple Sec, as they carry the same claims! It claims to volumize, absorb oil, refresh, and to add hold. You are to hold the can eight to 10 inches away from your hair while spraying. Be sure to massage it into your roots, and you can tousle your hair for extra volume.
Pantene Pro V Airspray
Fourth, I have Airspray from Pantene in level 2. It claims to be a brushable, flexible hold hairspray.
Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Dry Texturizing Spray
Fifth in The Mane Event box from the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 set is another dry texturizing spray, but from the Not Your Mother’s brand. It claims to absorb oils and to add texture. Again, you are to hold the can eight to 10 inches away from your hair while spraying it generously. You can work the spray in with your fingers, or brush it out to diffuse. It has a toasted coconut scent.
Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Soft Waves Sea Salt Spray
Sixth I have a sea salt wave spray from Not Your Mother’s. It features a tropical banana scent and it claims to texturize, add separation and body, soothe, hydrate, and to protect against dryness. The directions state to mist the product generously on dry or damp hair, scrunch your hair with your fingers, and then allow your hair to air dry.
Not Your Mother’s All Eyes on Me 10-in-1 Hair Perfector
Next I have the All Eyes on Me spray from Not Your Mother’s. You are to apply it to clean, towel dry hair by spraying it from roots to tips and combing it through. The scent is difficult to describe. Here is the list of the 10 claims:

Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Shampoo and Conditioner
First in the Influenced by Nature box is a shampoo and conditioner pair from Love Beauty & Planet. Coconut Water and Mimosa Flower is designed for fine hair like mine. It claims to add body, to strengthen, and to moisturize. The directions are standard to any shampoo and conditioner.
Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner
Second, I have another conditioning treatment from Hask. Monoi Coconut Oil claims to moisturize, revitalize, soften, nourish, and revive your hair. Apply it to wet hair by focusing on damaged areas, leave it on for 10 minutes, and then rinse well. It can be used one to two times per week.
Everyone Soap 3-in-1 in Coconut Lemon
Third in the Influenced by Nature box in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup is a body wash. Everyone Soap is providing a 3-in-1 cleansing solution that acts as a body wash, shampoo, and a bubble bath. The clear gel smells like coconut and lemon. I plan to use it strictly as a body wash.
Renpure Coconut Milk & Vitamin B Body Wash
Fourth, I have another body wash, this time from Renpure. Coconut Milk and Vitamin B is supposed to moisturize, soften, and add glow. The translucent white body wash has a coconut scent. You are to massage it over your skin in circular motions, and then rinse off.
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Lavender Hand Sanitizer
Fifth, I have a spray-on hand sanitizer from Mrs. Meyer’s. The delightfully scented lavender hand sanitizer claims to refresh your skin. You are to spray two to three spritzes on each hand and then rub your hands together.
Hello Activated Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste
Next in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 collection is a full-size activated charcoal toothpaste from Hello, which I tested in a prior Walmart Beauty Box. This toothpaste has normal application directions. Mainly it is important to keep in mind that this stuff is black and can be messy to use in a white sink. I prefer to spit it into the kitchen sink where I can rinse it with a hose. This product claims to whiten your teeth. I get such a kick out of brushing with black toothpaste!
Herbal Essences Bio Renew Detox Black Charcoal Shampoo
Continuing with the charcoal theme, I have the Herbal Essences Detox Black Charcoal Shampoo. This shampoo claims to rid your hair of shampoo buildup with the use of charcoal. I definitely suffer from buildup, so I am pumped about this shampoo. Normally I would gripe about not getting the conditioner, but this gives me the opportunity to use all of my conditioner samples. This shampoo is color safe and has standard directions. It features a delicious, cologne-like scent. The formula is a clear gel with specks of black charcoal.
Creamo Moisturizing Shave Cream in Coconut Mango
We even have a shaving product in the lineup! I have Creamo’s Moisturizing Shave Cream. It claims to soften, smooth, and moisturize the skin. The directions state to rub the skin to be shaved in tolerably hot water for 30 seconds, and then to massage the cream on until a light lather forms. It should create a slick surface that reduces nicks and irritation for a close, comfortable shave. Additionally, you may need to add more water as you shave to keep the cream slippery. The formula is highly concentrated, so less is more and an almond-sized amount should be used. It is a white cream with a coconut mango scent.
Pretty Little Extras

Kiss Blowout Lash in Pageboy
Moving on with the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 set, I have the Pageboy lashes from Kiss. While I already have this pair in my collection, I know that these wear nice on the eyes. They provide a full glam look without going overboard. I appreciate the thin, clear band.
Moda Pro Buffer brush
Second, I have Moda’s Pro Buffer brush. This brush should be good for buffing foundation into the skin. Speaking on the bristles, they do have a fair amount of give for being densely packed, and they are highly soft. The handle features a quilted texture.
Duo Eyelash Adhesive in Clear-White
Third, I have a cult-favorite eyelash adhesive from Duo, which I already own in a brush-on format. I always have good luck with Duo adhesive in terms of the lash staying glued down all day, even on the inner corners. Also, I find that this glue makes application easier because the lash sticks the moment you place it down.
Setz Blot + Translucent Powder
In the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup I am excited that the new Setz blotting set is included! These on-the-go packs feature a disposable blotter, plastic tray, and translucent loose powder. You simply shake the blotter over the tray to release the powder, dip the blotter into the powder, and then blot on the go! These will take some testing out.
P2 Volume Gloss Gel Look Polish in Happy Bride
Fifth is a gel-like nail polish from P2. The shade Happy Bride is a light, salmon-hued pink.
Equate Fashion Nail File
Here I have a basic nail file from Equate, which makes sense that it was included in the Pretty Little Extras box.
Ecotools Total Perfecting Blender
Next in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 collection is a personal favorite of mine, the Ecotools Total Perfecting Blender. This sponge features a rounded bottom, and two flat edges. I love it for applying foundation, and I use this sponge wet. It provides a beautiful finish, and is just as good as the other popular blending sponges.
Impress Nails in Bohemian
Continuing on I have a set of Impress Nails in the Bohemian style. These are faux nails that you press on and go.
Incoco Coconut Nail Art in Sea Goddess
Last in this box is a set of Incoco nail polish strips in the Sea Goddess style. The directions state to remove the plastic cover from the strips. Next, peel off the strip and tear the silver tab away. Finally, place the strip on the nail and stretch it out a bit and file off the excess.

Masqueology Under Eye Gold Gel Mask
Now for some makeup in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 set! First we have a two-pack of under eye masks by Masqueology. They claim to tighten and reduce puffiness and dark circles. You are to apply them to the under eye for 20 minutes, and to pat the excess serum in and around the eyes after use.
elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil in Neutral Brown
Second, I have a personal favorite- elf’s Instant Lift Brow Pencil in my perfect shade match! It is my favorite because the size of the tip is ideal for quickly and easily filling your brows with precision. The formula looks great when you brush it in with the attached spoolie.
Loreal Voluminous Primer
Third, I have a mascara primer from Loreal. It claims to condition, volumize, and to provide lashes that are instantly thicker and longer.
Rimmel Lash Accelerator Serum
Fourth in The Eyes Have It collection from the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 set is a lash growth serum from Rimmel. The mascara wand features a threaded, screw-like applicator which you use to apply the serum directly to your lashes before mascara application, or alone. You can also use the brush tip to brush the product onto sparse brows or along the lash line. Allow the product to set, but not fully, before applying mascara.
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara
Fifth is one of my all-time favorite mascaras! Lash Sensational provides voluminous, long, winged-out, full glam lashes for me, which I adore on the daily basis! The unique, curved wand makes it easy to reach all of your eyelashes. It features a formula that is wet at first, but be patient and it will reach it’s prime after about a week of use.
Covergirl Lid Lock Up Eyeshadow Primer
Pressing on, I have Covergirl’s eyeshadow primer. The color and applicator remind me a lot of concealer. Simply apply the primer to your eyelids with the doe foot applicator, and blend the primer out with your ring finger.
Covergirl Flourish Mascara
Next in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup is Covergirl’s Flourish mascara. It claims to condition lashes while building volume and adding definition.
Glow Like a Pro

Maybelline Master Prime Primer in Hydrate + Smooth
First in the glowy products is Maybelline’s Master Prime Primer, which I have heard good things about. It claims to refine the look and feel of your skin to make makeup last all day.
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Matte Setting Spray
Second, I have a matte setting spray from Hard Candy. It claims to control oils, mattify, hydrate, and minimize the appearance of pores while making your makeup last for 12 hours.
Found Illuminating Makeup Setting Spray in Stardust
Another setting spray from the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 collection is Found’s Illuminating Makeup Setting Spray. When you shake the bottle it sounds like a can of spray paint, leading me to believe it is packed with glitter or shimmer.
elf Poreless Face Primer
Fourth, I have elf’s Poreless Face Primer. I have completely used one of these up, and I personally do not feel like it does anything for my massive pores. To me, it is a basic primer that you can use all over the face.
Hard Candy Just Glow Body Luminizer
Fifth I have a body luminizer from Hard Candy in an intense gold shade. It looks much better rubbed into my skin, but just on the verge of being too dark. There is no yucky smell with this product.
Milani Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose
Ending the Glow Like a Pro box from the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 set is two Milani products. First is one if their rose blushes. The shade Romanic Rose is perfect for daily use and compliments a variety of skin tones! In doing the swatch I am blown away by how soft and creamy the powder formula is. You can definitely build this matte blush up to your desired intensity without fear of going overboard.
Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Highlighter in Afterglow
Last from Milani is a stunning highlighter in the shade Afterglow. While it looks amazing on it’s own, it looks even better after a setting spray is applied over top! I love white, or light-colored highlighters, and this is a new favorite for sure.

SooAE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch
I am ending the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 unboxing with the lip lineup, starting with this repeat lip patch from SooAE. The claims include that it should smooth, soothe, plump, moisturize, and minimize fine lines and wrinkles. You to apply the mask to clean lips and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. After removal you are to pat the excess serum into the lips. It is difficult to keep this mask on your lips, so I recommend wearing it lying down.
Hard Candy Max Pout Plumping Serum Supreme Volumizing Lip Gloss
Second in the lip lineup from the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 is a volumizing lip gloss from Hard Candy. If you do not want to use it as a lip gloss, you can wear it alone until you get the desired amount of lip plump, then wipe it off and apply your lip color. When you open it you can smell that characteristic burning plastic smell that I find is associated with most plumping formulas.
Flower Miracle Matte Liquid Lip Color in Dark & Stormy
Third I have a beautiful and vampy matte liquid lipstick from Flower. It dries down to be fully matte in minutes, and the pigment is full in one swipe. The formula is not streaky.
Burt’s Bees Liquid Lipstick in Tidal Taupe
Fourth I have a lovely terracotta-hued liquid lipstick from Burt’s Bees. The formula is more like a lip gloss than anything, which disappoints me. I would rather have this liquid lipstick be matte.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine in Radiant Rose
Fifth for lip color in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup is Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Lip Shine, a repeat from a past beauty box. Again, this formula is more like a sheer pink lipgoss. The doe foot applicator is huge and difficult to remove from and replace back in to the tube. It feels like I am going to break the applicator off.
wet n wild megalast Liquid Catsuit High Shine Lipstick in Flirt Alert
Sixth, I have one of wet n wild’s high shine liquid lipsticks. I have reviews and swatches on the full line already, and I do like this product. They provide a lipgloss-like finish, without a lot of stickiness, but with a lot of pigment! By no means are these meant to last all day, but they are pretty and leave behind a bit of a stain.
Almay Goddess Gloss in Angelic
The final lip product in the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 set is a lipgloss by Almay. The shade Angelic is an exact dupe for Urban Decay’s Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss in the shade SPL, as far as I can tell. It is a sheer pink lipgloss that is packed with iridescent shimmers, and it smells like dessert.
To conclude, the Walmart Favorites Boxes 2019 lineup cannot be beat in value! In these sets you get so many full-size or deluxe samples for a fraction of the price, making discovering new must-haves easy and painless. Some of the favorites included are my personal favorites as well. I love the opportunity to discover new brands and products, and I am sure to find products that I will no longer be able to live without.
