e.l.f. Haul 11: Reviews & Swatches

This e.l.f. haul 11 contains items that I am getting as part of a sale. While I have a few repurchases in the bunch, the others are new to me products to try out. This particular sale is a very good example of a peculiarity surrounding e.l.f. sales in general. Sometimes items appear in their sales that I have never seen or heard of before, and I know that I follow the company enough to be familiar with their offerings. Sometimes products only appear in sales, and then disappear until the next sale. Finally, some colors are only available during sales. Either way I enjoy snagging up what I can so that I can share my finds with you. Let’s get started.

I would like to start out my e.l.f. haul 11 with brushes! I think the entire idea of this set is really unique. First of all, the brushes come in a brush holder pouch that folds over and Velcro’s to protect the brushes. It even has a zippered compartment. The small stipple brush in this set is exactly the same as e.l.f.’s regular small stipple brush. I think the stipple eye brush is a unique concept, and one worth trying out. The tapered stipple is highly similar to a stipple brush from the Real Technique’s three piece duo fiber brush set.

e.l.f. Luxe Brush Collection

This brush set normally sells for $30, but right now it is $15! The case is advertised as being able to double as an evening clutch that carries your brushes, phone, and more. While it will work for that, I cannot see putting my phone in the same clutch with dirty brushes. Either way, it feels to be of good quality. The brushes are ultra soft. I will use the powder brush for face powder application. The foundation brush is just that- a basic foundation brush. I have never once used a foundation brush to apply my foundation. The blush and bronzer brush is excellent for contouring, blush, and bronzer application. The eyeshadow brush is pretty much e.l.f.’s eyeshadow “C” brush, which is an absolute staple for me. You can use the eyeliner brush for brow application as well, and reminds me a lot of wet n wild’s eyeliner brush that I really like. Finally, the lip brush is standard.

e.l.f. Eye Makeup Remover Pads

These eye makeup remover pads are a repurchase for me. I had to throw away the last package without using up all of the pads because the adhesive seal did not last. One day I found my package wide open and the pads were dried out. However, they do work while they are wet. My recommendation is to store these in a zippered storage bag.

e.l.f. Daily Moisture Stick

This is one of those products that I have never heard of before the sale. I started using this after finishing up Milk Makeup’s version of this stick. I have to say I am not a fan but I will finish it up. The consistency and feel on my face reminds me of a glue stick, without it being sticky. I think it can stand to be creamier and more moisturizing. I rub it all over my face and then go back with my fingers to make sure all of the product is rubbed in, but it hardly ever feels like I applied any product. There are definitely other moisturizers on the market that are better.

e.l.f. Zit Eraser

I am ordering three of these zit erasers now that they are back in the sale section! e.l.f. is discontinuing the zit eraser, and unfortunately it works well for my acne. The ingredients in their acne fighting spot gel are similar, but not the same, and it does not work as well for me. e.l.f., please bring this back!

Eyes

e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Lash Tint Mascara

I have never found an e.l.f. mascara that I like and tend to stay away from them. Trying the Beautifully Bare Lash Tint Mascara is more of an impulse purchase. I think it definitely does what it is supposed to do- tint your lashes by making them a little bit blacker and longer, but still natural looking. The only weird thing about the formula is that it dries sticky! One coat of mascara leaves your lashes tacky to the touch all day. Two coats causes my eyelashes to feel like they are going to stick together and keep my eyes shut all day, which does bother me. Definitely only use one coat of this stuff. If you apply this mascara to your top and bottom lashes, they will stick together!

Lips

e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick in Velvet Rope

Here is a color of moisturizing lipstick that I have never heard of. Again, I love this formula because it is buildable, moisturizing, and comfortable to wear.

e.l.f. Matte Lip Color

Here I have some Matte Lip Color shades that I have not heard of until this sale. I hope that I finally have the whole collection. I love these because they are comfortably matte, highly pigmented, and last fairly well. They also have a sharpener on the opposite end of the tip, but I have never needed to use it. I do not think that Coral lives up to it’s name. It is more of a nude to me. Nearly Nude is just fine.

Blush & Bronzer

e.l.f. Bronzed Beauty Blush & Bronzer

I am so sure that this set appears in various Christmas gift sets. This is just a cheap blush and bronzer that I am buying for the heck of it. Both the blush and bronzer have some shimmer, so if you do not like that, you will not like this product. The mini kabuki is useless to me and very coarse. The pigmentation is decent.

e.l.f. Bronzer in Sun Kissed

The final item in my e.l.f. haul 11 is one of their cheap, yet bomb bronzers! They deliver great pigmentation that lasts all day, with a tiny price tag. I highly recommend these. Again, some shimmer is present but I do not mind. I have other shades and have not had any issue with looking orange.

Those are all of the products in my e.l.f. haul 11. Will you try any of these items? Please share your thoughts in the comments. I am super excited to try out the brushes. I think they might be the biggest steal this time around. Thanks for reading, and until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
