The collaboration between Morphe and Jaclyn Hill continues on, this time with a new 12-pan palette. I have already reviewed The Vault, which is a collection of four 10-pan palettes. Now we have the Jacyln Hill Divine Neutrals palette. It is very different from the other other colorful options, as this one provides core neutral shades that are just as perfect for daily wear as they are for a glamorous occasion. I am going to review this palette, along with swatches and shade descriptions.

About the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette, Claims

The Morphe Divine Neutrals palette claims to provide six velvety mattes and six gilded shimmers. The formula is Jaclyn’s signature, which is crafted for 30% more color impact than typical palettes. Each pan is 1-inch, containing 14.3 grams or 0.50 ounces of product. You should be able to create looks that range from natural to wow. This palette ultimately contains 12 mattes, satins, and shimmers.

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals Palette Swatches and Shade Descriptions

Next are the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals palette swatches and shade descriptions. The only shade that surprises me is Birthday Suit. It looks more gold in the pan than how it actually swatches. It comes out to be more orange, so it is not true to color. Another note is with Chic Happens. Ulta actually states that it is a matte shade, but this is false. The shade has a slight shimmer that is noticeable in the pan, in the swatch, and on the eye. The first few shades are close to my skin tone, so they are not bold in the swatches. But, you can clearly see the rich color payoff and beauty of the shimmers from the swatches. All of these are dry swatches, so imagine what would happen if I wet those shimmers! Below are the shade names and descriptions:

  • Chic Happens: pale pink
  • Awe Luxe: dusty rose shimmer
  • Just Barely: dark dusty rose
  • Birthday Suit: bronze shimmer
  • Good Vibes: light mahogany
  • Drippin’: gold shimmer
  • Boo Bear: eggplant brown
  • Risqué Business: dark brown shimmer
  • Booked: chestnut brown
  • Strip Tease: medium brown shimmer
  • Cinnamon Roll: dark brown
  • Exposed: dark brown shimmer

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals Review

It is time for my Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals review. By now I have tried both of the large Jaclyn Hill palettes, as well as the Vault palettes. I can confidently say that if you love any of those, you will adore this one as well. The quality of this palette is exactly the same as the others. The mattes are smooth and buttery, while never being patchy or dry. You can use the shimmers wet or dry, but you get stunning impact either way. Every eyeshadow is easy to blend, to build, and to work with. The color payoff really is insane.

This palette in particular has amazing shades for your crease and to set your eyelid. This is an absolute staple to keep around. If you ever find yourself using a palette and it does not have a good transition shade, this one will be your best friend. You can never have too many neutrals, as they are the building block of most looks on a daily basis. This palette makes a superb companion to the others in the line.

I am ending with two Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals palette looks to rev up your inspiration while showcasing these lovely eyeshadows.

Look 1

To recreate the eyeshadow look, begin by setting the eyelid with Chic Happens. Next, apply Good Vibes to the crease, and bring it down below the eye. Then, deepen the crease with Booked, which you can also bring down below the eye. Now, apply Awe Luxe to the eyelid. Next, apply Boo Bear to the outer-v, and connect it down to the lower outer corner. Deepen the outer-v with Cinnamon Roll. Then, apply Just Barely along the lower lash line. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with Awe Luxe.

Look 2

To recreate the eyeshadow look, begin by setting the eyelid with Chic Happens. Next, apply Good Vibes to the crease and bring it down all the way across the lower lash line. Now, apply Booked onto the eyelid, leaving a blank space in the middle to prep for a halo eye. You can dust some of Booked into the crease to connect the left and right side of the eyelid. Then, deepen the outer and inner third of the eyelid with Boo Bear. Apply Drippin’ to the middle of the eyelid. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with Awe Luxe.
