I am incredibly proud and honored to be able to write this review. I have been a Gwen fan my entire life, or for as long as I can remember. She inspires and influences my makeup and style choices. I am doing a full GXVE Beauty brand review to asses if this celebrity line is worth the money. While I do not have all of the colors, I do have one of everything. I must say, I found nearly all of this at TJMaxx for under $10 despite these items not being discontinued or repackaged! The others have been birthday or Christmas gifts. I am swatching everything with complete details and a makeup look at the end.

First up in this GXVE Beauty review is the Line It Up 24HR Waterproof Gel Liner in Spiderwebs. This is a standard gel eyeliner pencil in black. I find that it is super creamy so that it does not tug or skip. The formula is matte. It lasts all day, even on the waterline.

Can’t Stop Staring Mascara
Second in this GXVE makeup review is the Can’t Stop Staring Mascara. The shape of this silicone applicator, in conjunction with its flexibility, allows me to reach all of my lashes, even those in the inner corner. It does a good job of separating and getting down to the root. I agree that it is lightweight and does not smudge, all without clumps. There is evident length and definition that makes me want to use it again. Dare I say this is a close tender as a favorite, and I am picky with mascara.

Bubble Pop Electric High-Shine Lip Gloss in Sweet Tooth
Third for GXVE Beauty by Gwen Stefani is the Bubble Pop Electric High-Shine Lip Gloss in Sweet Tooth. It has a good amount of pigmentation for a gloss, with the right balance of sheerness. This formula is heavy and sticky, so I dock one star. You should re-apply it as needed.

Paint It Up 24HR Cream Eyeshadow in Dip Dye
Fourth is the Paint It Up 24HR Cream Eyeshadow in Dip Dye. I keep thinking how this is a true cream eyeshadow, which I know is redundant based on the name, but it is the best way to say it! The squeeze tube is controlled. I use a flat eyeshadow brush to apply it and it blends like a dream. You get that soft diffused look with it, and it dries down fully. This product will not budge all day – there is zero creasing, cracking, fading, or movement. It looks just as good at the end of the day as it does at the beginning. You can pair it up with other creams or powders. The metallic properties are beautiful. While I do want other colors of the items mentioned in this review, I will start by getting the other shades of this in particular.

Feelin’ Cheeky Clean Amplifying Blush Duo in Ex-Girlfriend
Fifth is the Feelin’ Cheeky Clean Amplifying Blush Duo in Ex-Girlfriend. It features a shimmer shade, and one shade that is almost matte but I can see that faint shimmer. Do not let this bright duo scare you! The formula is buildable, as well as easy to blend. I love to layer the colors for the complete look.

Spark The Fire Clean Plumping Lip Balm in L-U-V
Next for GXVE Beauty is the Spark The Fire Clean Plumping Lip Balm in L-U-V. It will give your lips a tingling sensation for about 30 minutes, but it is not painful and entirely tolerable. I can see some temporary plumping effects. The formula itself is lightweight with a sheer wash of color and shine.

Pick It Up Contour & Bronzer Duo in Heatin’ Up
This is the Pick It Up Contour & Bronzer Duo in Heatin’ Up. I find that both the powder and cream formulas are easy to blend and to build. Heatin’ Up is designed for fair skin, and it is on point. The tones are correct and they never look muddy on me. Really, they are gentle and cannot look like ‘too much.’ I think I am hard pressed to ever over-apply these.

Check My Glow Illuminating Highlighter in Platinum Cowgirl
Here is the Check My Glow Illuminating Highlighter in Platinum Cowgirl, which gets a shout out in my best of beauty 2023 list. This highlighter is buildable, from simple to blinding. Platinum Cowgirl is a lovely shade for fair skin. It gives you that metallic wet look without being glittery. It does not emphasize texture.

Eye See In Sparkle Glitter Eyeshadow in Glimmer
Next is the Eye See In Sparkle Glitter Eyeshadow in Glimmer. I like to apply it with a brush over a sticky primer. The swatch does not do it justice, but it gives an amazing glitter and metallic shimmer. Even with my trusted sticky primer, it does like to transfer to the crease area, and my overall look creases up a bit.

I’m Still Here High-Performance Matte Liquid Lipstick
Continuing on with GXVE Beauty is the I’m Still Here High-Performance Matte Liquid Lipstick. It provides full coverage, bright color in one swipe. It feels comfortable all day on the lips with a true matte finish and no cracking or flaking. This product is lightweight, and there is little to no fading or transfer.

Eye See In Color Multidimensional Eye Shadow Quad
Here I have all four Eye See In Color Multidimensional Eye Shadow Quads. I accidentally broke my favorite color story, which is Just a Girl! I will use my how to fix broken makeup tutorial to fix it. When you consider each quad individually, there is not a lot of differention between the shades once applied to the eye. If you own and use all of them in one sitting, then you get the variety. I find that the eyeshadows are easy to blend and to build, but the pigmentation is a hair on the lighter side. The mattes are not dusty, chalky, or patchy. The metallics are pretty dry or wet.

Next is the Pout To Get Real Matte Lip Liner with Dual-ended Lip Brush in Do Whatever. It has a dry formula, so it requires a good amount of pressure and layering up to get the color payoff. Because of the dryness, it is hard to use the blending brush effectively. It is precise in application. Strangely enough, I cannot say that it skips or tugs. I do experience crumbling and breaking of the tip.

Original Me High-Performance Matte Lipstick
For another GXVE Beauty lipstick I have the Original Me High-Performance Matte Lipstick. It has a true matte finish and bold, full coverage in one swipe. It is comfortable all day. Lipsticks do not dry down per se, but this does have minimal transfer. Overall, a very nice and dependable matte formula.

The Anaheim Line Clean Waterproof Lip Liner in Scarlet Red is a basic wooden lip liner pencil that you can sharpen. Much like the retractible, it has a drier formula, but it is better. There is still a need to layer it up to get that color payoff. It does not skip or tug.

Here is the Double Dippin’ 2-in-1 Lip Color Remover & Lip Mask. It is basically a lip oil, so it effectively removes all makeup. I also enjoy it has a lip mask before bed to promote hydration.

Anaheim Shine High-Performance Satin Lipstick
The other lipstick formula is the Anaheim Shine High-Performance Satin Lipstick. Much like the mattes, you get full coverage in one swipe that is comfortable to wear. The finish is a true satin. This transfers and fades as well, so it needs to be re-applied. Original Me is a true red, while Rosewood St is a red that contains pink.

Most Def Instant Definition Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil in 5
Next for GXVE Beauty is the Most Def Instant Definition Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil in 5. It does a good job of creating precise, hair-like strokes with soft pigmentation. The formula is on the drier or waxier side. That does not bother me, but I know it is a preference for some.

Xtra Sauce Longwear Vinyl Liquid Lipstick in Original Recipe
Pressing on, this is the Xtra Sauce Longwear Vinyl Liquid Lipstick in Original Recipe. It is one of those liquid formulas that somehow dries down to the lips like a matte liquid lipstick, but it is shiny. The shine lasts all day! There is little to no transfer. I would love to see more colors of this. A note- I had this product open and laying down for the photo, and a good amount leaked out. Always stand it up while in use!

Hella On Point Ultra-Fine Eyebrow Pencil in 4
The other eyebrow pencil is the Hella On Point Ultra-Fine Eyebrow Pencil in 4. It also has a drier or waxy formula, and that can make it feel scratchy in application. However, it does create hair-like strokes with soft pigment.

All Time Prime Prep & Smooth Oil
Last is the All Time Prime Prep & Smooth Oil. I was skeptical about using an oil as a primer, because oil removes makeup. It definitely plays nice! The key is to make sure it pairs well with layering for your skincare and makeup. For example, a sunscreen loaded with silicone will cause pilling. Makeup applies normally over top, and it does hydrate the skin and give you a healthy look. I do not think that it helps or hurts makeup wear time. I have combination skin and it does make the oil and shine in the T-zone worse.
My favorite way to use this product is to mix one drop into a foundation that I do not like! If you have any foundations laying around that you are considering decluttering because they do not look good on you, give it a try. Foundations that meet this criteria are fair game: thick, super matte, heavy on the skin. I dispense the usual amount, then mix only one drop in. Your foundation may dry down with a tacky finish that it didnt have before, but it will become skin-like with a healthy glow, but not dewy. This is why I hover my review between four and five stars, because the mix-in works better than priming. I know a lot of people wear it as a skincare oil and love the benefits.

To recreate the eye look, start by applying the matte pink shade to the crease and along the lower lash line. Next, deepen the crease with the matte medium brown shade. Then, apply the metallic pink shade to the eyelid. Now, apply the dark brown matte shade to the outer corner and connect it down to the lower lash line. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with the large cream shimmer shade.

In summary of GXVE Beauty, this brand is worth your cash! Along the way I have pointed out a few notes that are not the best, but mostly everything is impressive. My goal is to get all of the cream eyeshadows, then build out the lip colors. I hope that she releases more products, such as foundation and concealer.
