Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Volume 1 Review
About the Palette
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Volume 1 contains 25 shades and retails for $60 at Sephora and at the brand’s website. Unlike some of the other palettes, this one does not contain eyeshadows or glitters, only pressed pigments. As Sephora’s website details, these are the shade descriptions:
25 Pressed Pigments in A1 (metallic lilac with a cool pink reflect), A2 (matte mid-tone vivid violet), A3 (matte rich plum), A4 (metallic golden copper), A5 (matte vibrant warm candy pink), B1 (matte vivid lilac), B2 (metallic rosy bronze with gold sparkles), B3 (metallic platinum rose with gold sparkles), B4 (matte deep cool violet), B5 (matte deep cool plum), C1 (matte bright white), C2 (metallic yellow gold), C3 (metallic deep rose gold with gold sparkles), C4 (matte mauve plum), C5 (matte burnt sienna brown), D1 (matte primary yellow), D2 (shimmering blue purple), D3 (matte primary red), D4 (sparkling matte primary blue with blue sparkles), D5 (matte black), E1 (shimmering peach gold), E2 (matte pastel orange), E3 (matte ochre yellow), E4 (matte neon orange), E5 (matte oxblood)
This palette is Vegan and cruelty-free. The color story is created to be the ultimate color collection in a unique number/letter layout to provide professional-grade quality and feel.
Please note that A2, A3, A5, B1, B3, B4, B5, C4, C5, D2, D3, D4, D5, E1, E2, E4, and E5 are not intended for use around the immediate eye area.
The palette is packaged in a sturdy hard plastic and features a full-size mirror.
Norvina Vol. 1 Swatches
As you can see from the swatches, this palette is incredibly pigmented, as well as vibrant. All of the shades swatch easily. You can see how soft and almost blurred the swatches appear, which is attributed to the high-quality, buttery formula.
This palette produces little to no fallout or kick-up, outside of the usual amount produced by any eyeshadows.
Review
The pigmentation, quality, and blendability of this palette is consistent with the Anastasia Beverly Hills line, which is exactly why I collect their palettes and recommend then to you. You will find this palette to be so easy to work while being highly versatile.
As with most palettes, you can apply these formulas wet or dry. The more metallic or shimmery shades already pack an excellent punch dry, so you can only amplify them with a wet brush. The mattes are buttery smooth and not chalky or patchy.
I find all of the shades and formulations to be consistent in quality and application.
Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1 Looks
I am ending this Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Volume 1 review with three different eyeshadow looks. The intent is to go for the colors that most catch your eye when you open the palette. I actually used this for my maid of honor look to do a white/blue/black gradient way back before I started taking proper makeup pictures!
Shadow Play
To recreate this look, start by applying D4 to the crease and bring it down below the eye. Next, apply A2 onto the outer and inner corner of the eyelid, leaving a blank space in the center. Then, bring A2 down along the lower lash line. Now, deepen A2 on the eyelid with B4, closer to the outer edges of A2. Next, apply some B4 to connect it to the lower lash line. Finally, apply A1 in the center of the eyelid, and also use it to highlight the brow bone and inner corner.
Sunset
To recreate this look, start by applying E4 to the crease and bring it down below the eye. Next, apply E1 onto the eyelid. Then, apply a mix of E2 and E4 onto the outer-v. Now, apply E2 along the lower lash line, connecting it to the outer-v. Finish by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with C2.
Smoky Berry
To recreate this look, start by applying E5 to the crease and bring it down below the eye. Now, using a pencil brush, apply D5 along the upper and lower lash lines. Next, apply C5 onto the entire eyelid, blending it into D5 on the upper lash line as well as into E5 on the crease. Some C5 can also be applied below the eye, fusing between E5 and D5. Finish by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with B3.

Conclusion
In summary of this Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Volume 1 review, you will feel like such a makeup artist using this palette. On the surface it might seem like it is rather dark, and the purple can be off putting. What I like about this palette is you can go all out blue, mustard yellow, make a pretty sunset orange eye, a smokey red, or whatever you can think of. This unusual color scheme makes this palette a beast of its own and worthy to be in your collection. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
