As we kick off summer it is time for my Play! by Sephora June 2019 review. The theme of the box is Destination Beauty. Each of the samples are supposed to be travel friendly while providing the benefits you will need being out and about. Your trip is supposed to be “beautiful” with these products! Who knows what we will get until we take a peek inside.

Klorane Anti-Pollution Shampoo & Conditioner

The first set of items in my Play! by Sephora June 2019 review are Klorane’s Anti-Pollution Shampoo and Conditioner. This pair claims to detoxify, purify, and protect your hair and scalp from pollution while removing environmental build up. Standard directions apply to these, and the conditioner states to leave it in for two to three minutes.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist

Second, I have Herbivore’s Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist. Upon doing research on this facial spray, it sounds like it is best used as a toning water by spraying it onto your face after cleansing but before moisturizer. While it can also be used to set the face and to refresh throughout the day, it probably functions better as toner. It smells like rose and comes in a glass bottle. It claims to tone, hydrate, soften, and reduce redness and blemishes.

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

Third is a repeat product from the February 2018 box– Farmacy’s Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm. It claims to remove all of your makeup while leaving your skin feeling silky smooth. The directions state to warm up a generous amount of product in your hands and then to massage your dry face in circular motions. Finish by rising with warm water. There is barely any scent to this product and it is a thick green balm.

Sephora All Day Hydrator – Hydrate and Glow

Fourth is Sephora’s All Day Hydrator. This is a weightless daily moisturizer that claims to provide a natural glow to the skin. It should provide hydration that lasts all day. The formula is thin and translucent white with a scent that is impossible to describe.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Original Berry

Next I have a cult favorite product, which is the Lip Sleeping Mask by Laneige. It claims to provide baby soft lips and smells like delicious berry. You are to apply a generous amount before bed and leave it on overnight. In the morning you can wipe off any remaining product. It appears to be a balm in the pot, but I am sure it thins up as you apply it to your lips.

Tarte Foundcealer in 16s

The final item in this Play! by Sephora June 2019 review is Foundcealer by Tarte in the shade 16s. As the name leads on, the formula is supposed to be a foundation and concealer hybrid, with a concealer-like amount of coverage. It contains SPF and provides light to medium coverage depending on how you apply it. By swatching it I can say that the formula is thin, reminding me more of a BB cream, so I do expect light coverage. Sephora is doing a decent job of shade matching me, as usual. 16s may be slightly too yellow, but I can work with it.

In summary of this Play! by Sephora June 2019 review, all of these samples support the Destination Beauty theme. Besides the variety of products, you have everything you need for weightless, comfortable beauty in the summer heat. These products even pack easily and reduce the risk of leaks. Will you be trying any of these products? Do you have any favorites in this mix? I think this is a really good Play! box and I hope that they continue to stay this awesome. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
